Maneki-neko, or the “beckoning cat,” has long been cherished in Japan as a symbol of good fortune, prosperity, and meaningful connections.
With its raised paw believed to invite good luck and welcome people, the Maneki-neko has traditionally been displayed in homes and businesses as a charm for happiness and success.
In this work, Ichiraku reimagines this familiar Japanese symbol through his own distinctive lines and expression.
Inviting good fortune and new connections into everyday life—a piece inspired by one of Japan’s most beloved symbols of luck.
